HHA to PN Accredited Course

Practical Nursing

12 months/1350 Clock Hours ~ The Program prepares the student to become eligible for Licensure as a Practical Nurse. This program includes theoretical and practical applications that prepare students to be able to perform patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and other Medical Staff.

Accelerated Practical Nursing

9 months/1350 Clock Hours ~ The Program prepares the student to become eligible for Licensure as a Practical Nurse. This program includes theoretical and practical applications that prepare students to be able to perform patient care duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and other Medical Staff.

Nursing Assistant

7 weeks/ 130 Clock Hours~ Upon successful completion the student will be able to proficiently demonstrate all skills necessary to operate in the capacity of a licensed Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida. Professional etiquette, ethics, proper behavior and moral conduct are consistently taught and reinforced in preparation for employer expectation and student enhancement for the Nursing Assistant profession.

Patient Care Technician

6 months/ 600 Clock Hours~The program designed for the Patient Care Technician will provide students with both the knowledge and skills necessary to become licensed in the state of Florida. Their confidence in their ability to perform skills, make decisions and communicate with both patients and staff on a professional level will have reached new heights, upon completion of the program.

 

Phlebotomy/ EKG (only)

6 weeks. Component of Patient Care Technician Program. May be taken separately for individual certification.

Home Health Aide 3.5 weeks

This is a short-term course but equally as important. While there are classroom and laboratory instructional times, this course prepares the student to be able to offer assistance in varied areas of the patient’s life, while spending large amounts of time with patients.
